Md. Muhib Ahsan Chowdhury is a faculty member of the Department of Humanities at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), where he joined on 1 July 2026.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Language and a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) from the Institute of Modern Languages (IML), Jagannath University, Dhaka. In recognition of his academic excellence, he was among the recipients of the prestigious Dean’s Award 2026 for outstanding academic achievement.

Before joining RUET, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Arts and Sciences at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) from 7 January 2026 to 30 June 2026.

His primary research interests include Material Design and Development, Technology-Enhanced Language Learning, Applied Linguistics, and English Language Teaching (ELT). His academic interests particularly focus on developing effective and engaging language-learning materials, integrating technology into English language education, and exploring innovative approaches to language teaching and learning. He is also interested in research that bridges theory and classroom practice and contributes to the continuous improvement of English language pedagogy.

At RUET, he is committed to contributing to the university’s academic mission by strengthening the role of humanities, language, communication, and critical thinking within engineering education and helping students develop the linguistic and communicative competencies essential for academic, professional, and lifelong success.
